We have been working on a range of Crunchy Spelt Bran Flakes for over a year now; perfecting the ingredients, choosing our favourite fruits to add and creating a fun and very British packaging design, and we are delighted to announce that they will be available from Monday 5th March. Light, crispy and with no added salt, they are a uniquely British, tasty and healthy breakfast offering. spelt, an ancient cousin of wheat with many health, taste and nutritional benefits, and with a delicious nutty taste. From this West Country spelt we have created a selection of spelt products: the best organic breakfast cereals, spelt flour, and pearled spelt – which is a fantastic rice alternative and makes a great ‘speltotto'. 'I was keen to taste Sharpham Park Speltotto – a clever way of creating a quick ‘risotto’ but using spelt instead of rice. The product comes in various flavours: Pumpkin & Shallot; Courgette, Garlic & Thyme and Sundried Tomato & Chilli, each £3.95. It was an instant hit in my family: wonderful nutty flavour, great texture and fantastic with fish, meat or as is."
