| On The Farm
Autumn is here and the orchard is laden with apples. We’re pressing them to make apple juice, a perfect Somerset drink which will be available in the Harlequin Cafe at Kilver Court soon. The deer are looking splendid this year and it’s time to cull the population, so keep an eye out for fresh venison at the Sharpham Park Shop and Harlequin Cafe. We are delighted to announce as we bust with pride, our former Apprentice Spelt Miller, the first in the country, has completed his training and received his certificate from Serena Foreman at Yeovil College. Tom is a true success story. He started as an apprentice with us in September 2009, and has now completed his NVQ level 2 Apprenticeship. Tom is now Head Miller at Sharpham Park and a key part of the team and is making spelt milling history in Britain.
