Organic September
This month we will be showing our support for the #OrganicSeptember campaign, which runs throughout the month to raise awareness of the many benefits of organic food and farming practices.
In 2003, Roger and Monty bought the old run-down dairy farm around their house and set about the project of converting it into an organic spelt farm. Today Sharpham Park is the largest producer of organic spelt in the UK.
At Sharpham Park we believe that the roots of our happiness, health and well-being lie in the richness, bounty and beauty of the natural world! We manage our organic spelt farm sustainably, employing crop rotation to enrich and restore the soil, and eschewing the harsh insecticides that damage our immune systems and create bug and bird-free wastelands.- 3rd September 2021
